By Janette Foster Guinn – April 2019

North Carolina.MARS = Manuscript and Archives Records System

[Details: It is 6 reels of microfilm with Call Numbers S 108.390 – S 108.395 with 1517 records.]

Open that file.
Down at the bottom of that page, click
Show List of Child Records

When you click on that you get 95 pages of names of those who have land grants, 16 names to a page.
That makes up the 1517 “child” records [above right in the file name] in the “parent” file.

To change to 50 names per page, go back to the search page and use the menu on the upper right.
The info will then be on 31 pages, 50 names per page for all 1517 “child” records instead of the 95 pages with 16 names per page.
