WAGS Meeting and Help Night for September 2017

RESEARCH LOGS: A TOOL FOR GENEALOGY

Dr. Margaret Hougland, author of historical and genealogical books, has been conducting genealogy research for many years will be the speaker. She has served in various WAGS offices, including current editor of the WAGS Bulletin. Every profession has tools of the trade. Among the tools used by genealogists are research logs – a system for tracking information and guiding research. Learn how research logs can help your genealogical journey and the elements that make a research log.

The Watauga Association of Genealogists of NE TN will meet Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Jones Meeting Room of the Johnson City Public Library, 100 West Millard Street, Johnson City, Tennessee. The public is invited to attend.

 

Help Night, September 12, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the Tennessee Room of the Johnson City Public Library. Kate Morgan and Susan Kubenka will be assisting researchers.
