ANCESTRY.COM @ JOHNSON CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Hints to Help You Find Your Ancestors

A one hour instruction to Ancestry.com will be offered Saturday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Johnson City Public Library’s Computer Center.

New and experienced users of Ancestry.com are invited to attend.  Ancestry.com’s library edition is one of today’s most important genealogical collections.

While it is simple enough for beginners, Ancestry.com will help veteran genealogists advance their research. Ancestry.com features thousands of databases and billions of indexed names from key collections such as the American Genealogical Biographical Index, Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage, Social Security Death Index, WWI Draft Registration Cards, Federal Slave Narratives, and a Civil War collection.

Ancestry.com is a strong complement to HeritageQuest which is available to Johnson City Public Library card holders at the library or from home by visiting www.jcpl.net.
For more information contact the library at 423-434-4454.
